84-year-old woman carjacked by 50-year-old men

Police state 51-year-old Dwayne Karnes and 53-year-old James Johnson carjacked an unidentified 84-year-old. The Sunday evening nightmare went down at Sunoco on West Ridge Road near Mount Read BLVD. The thieves led police on a high-speed chase through the city that ended on Oscar Street.

Now, the suspects are facing numerous charges. According to 13Wham, Karnes was charged with felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, felony driving while intoxicated, felony second-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, misdemeanor third-degree unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, and numerous traffic violations. James Johnson was charged with misdemeanor third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was issued an appearance ticket.
