Andrew Cuomo, governor of New York, is calling for 30,000 ventilators, machines that will help the sickest citizens in the city, to help those afflicted by the corona virus. He rightfully believes this is necessary as the death toll in NYC is skyrocketing, and many people in the hospitals are currently on ventilators. This backs up Cuomo's claim that more are needed.
However, President Trump believes the amount of ventilators called for is unnecessary. Cuomo stays strong in his claim and believes that the people of New York need these ventilators.
Governor Cuomo is greatly looking out for his people, while President Trump has been figuring out how to benefit the economy from this crisis, and believing the pandemic will end sooner than it will. Cuomo knows the reality of the situation and is dedicated to the right things to help it end sooner.
