The number of recorded cases of the coronavirus surpassed one million in the United States, despite the spread beginning to slow a bit. 20,000 to 30,000 people are infected each day, although there could be more undiagnosed cases due to a shortage of tests.
In Pennsylvania, my home state, there have been over 45,000 confirmed cases, and over 2,200 deaths, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
More than 215,000 people have died worldwide, with more than 3 million people diagnosed. However, the actual numbers are likely much higher due to testing shortages and unreported cases.
If you have the sniffles, stay home. Wear a face mask in public. Wear gloves if possible. Respect the stay at home order, and don't listen to those people protesting on the streets.
