On May 25, 2020, body-cam footage captured Derek Chauvin kneeling on the neck of the lifeless body of George Floyd. At that time, Floyd was accused of buying cigarettes with a counterfeit twenty-dollar bill. Unfortunately, that claim would spark a chain of events that would divide a nation and convict Derek Chauvin on all charges.
