On Wednesday evening, an alleged armed robbery led to another police-involved shooting. Now, we are learning more about the man at the center of the robbery. Simran “Simmy” Gordon has been identified by family and friends, as the man shot and killed by RPD. The incident happened at the Family Dollar on W. Main Street. According to Facebook comments, Gordon had a history of mental illness.
