PAB Calls for Public Input
Agency Releases Right to Know Policy Proposal
The Police Accountability Board (PAB) along with the United Christian Leadership Ministry (UCLM) will host a public input session to gain feedback for the agency’s latest Proposal for Change. The PAB will also hold a virtual session.
The Right to Know proposal analyzes how Rochester Police Officers identify themselves while on duty. The PAB’s goal is to create greater transparency within the RPD and improve community trust, particularly surrounding voluntary consent searches.
During the events, attendees will learn more about the Right to Know proposal, ask questions about the drafted policy changes and share feedback with the PAB.
The events will be held on the following dates:
Virtual Session July 24, 2023, from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. This presentation will be streamed on the PAB Facebook and YouTube Pages.
In-person Session Hosted by the United Christian Leadership Ministry August 3, 2023, from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. First Church of God (334 Clarissa Street)
