Pins as a Fashion Accessory

My birthday was last week and a friend of mine gave me a pin as a gift.

I don't usually wear pins, though I have two of them from my graduation two years ago, but to please my friend, I have decided to start.

If you are wearing a dress, you can wear them on the side, near your shoulder or close to the clavicle area. That way, you don't look stuffy, but actually cool. This method could work for t-shirts and sweaters too, as though you took a riff from the Ralph Lauren logo placement on polo shirts.

Pins and brooches, when they're interesting, can be great conversation pieces and ways to connect with other people. So why not give it a try?
