The PAB had their first Board meeting of the new year. The public portion was quite short. Here are the highlights:
If you applied for a PAB job, they ask for patience. HR has had significant delays because of covid-related staff shortages.
Disciplinary matrix progress:
SMK has provided some examples to the board
Board has requested disciplinary data from the city
Will begin starting to work with the new city administration next week to establish rules for information access
New staff will begin going through the publicly available disciplinary records to get preliminary aggregate data about discipline (what types of misconduct are most common?)
Chair Wilson will be meeting with city council members very soon
Went into executive session to discuss Jobs Committee's findings and candidate recommendations (to protect individual identities)
