We know that symptoms of the coronavirus includes fever, cough and shortness of breath and respiratory issues. It's like the flu but more deadly. According to the WHO, the mortality rate for COVID-19 is higher than the flu rate.
However, some of those suffering from the coronavirus have reported the lost of smell and taste. The WHO and the CDC are looking into this possible new symptom. It has, as of now, not been added to the list of symptoms that healthcare professionals use to screen patients for the virus.
