Wednesday was a long awaited day - when millions of Americans would get their stimulus checks. But that wasn't the case, as many Americans found zilch in their bank accounts or the wrong amount.

Those who had filed their taxes via H&R Block, Turbotax and other services were unable to get their checks because the IRS did not have their direct deposit information on file.
Some parents are complaining that while they did receive the $1,200 or $2,400 for themselves, they did not receive the $500 per child payments.
Some are getting their checks on emerald cards on H&R Block that they had used years prior, and are now unable to access.
IRS and Treasury officials are aware of these issues and are working to fix them as soon as possible.
