The Current Statistics of COVID-19 in the United States

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the hospital rate for COVID-19 has raised to 4.6 per 100,000 cumulative, 13.8 per 100,000 for those over 65, and 7.4 per 100,000 for those age range 50 to 64. As of April 5, there are 304,826 total cases of Coronavirus in the United States, 7,616 deaths from COVID-19, and 55 jurisdictions of the U.S. have reported confirmed cases (50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, Northern Marianas, and US Virgin Islands). As of April 5, there have also been 1,388 cases reported due to spread by Travel-related reasons, 4,325 cases spread by close contact, and the others are still under investigation.


The CDC recommends in daily life everyone:

-Stay informed on the topic of COVID-19

-Prepare for possible illness

-Take everyday preventative measures

-Watch for symptoms
