What's Going to Happen In The Next Few Months? Joyce M Moore

Updated: Nov 11, 2020

Now that the president-elect and vice president-elect are picked, what do you think is going to happen next? Donald Trump cannot tolerate being ignored. He's going to be leading the opposition and we can expect a lot more from him. We have to remember he's an entertainer if nothing else and he has a large fan base. Having 70 million votes tells us it's still not over. We cannot be surprised if he causes havoc before leaving the white house. The fact he didn't care about African Americans is proven over and over and the carelessness he had with wearing a mask while in the White House confirms this. The majority of the White House workers are Latino and African American so it makes you wonder what his intent was.

How can anyone disregard his disrespect for women? Look at how he treats his wife. Did we ever see her speak or stand side by side with him? Of course not, whenever she was with him in photos it showed her walking behind him as if she was not good enough to walk by his side. Clearly, he has created more division and the views of how women are treated. We remember the positions of Michelle O'Bama and Hilary Clinton they had a voice and they spoke. Despite Michelle's hatred for politics, some things could not go unsaid. Presidents are supposed to be leaders, having a toxic leader creates the toxic energy and the groups that have been constantly forming under his watch. Now we see ads about Warnock, who is running for the U.S. Senate, and the radicals who are trying to tarnish his name. We have to vote for Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock to fill the Democratic seats. We have to expect more of Trump's 70 million supporters to rally and cause havoc before the December 7 deadline. Securing more democrats in the Senate will help to protect against racial profiling and the Redlining systems that are currently in place. The No Knock Warrant was targeted in high crime neighborhoods which allowed police officials the ability to break in without knocking. Breonna Taylor (R.I.P) was a prime example of the control that gave officials the freedom to commit murder without conviction.

Republicans' history has always been a thorn in the African American and Minority's side. The Senate majority leader Mitch Mcconnell is a snake and was re-elected in 2004 unanimously. In 2006 he was then elected as the minority leader since Bill Frist did not choose to seek re-election after the Republicans lost control. Trump, felt at home and wasted no time bringing the radicals to the white house and creating his army. It is a bigger picture and Trump will not bow down gracefully. Keep your eyes wide open know your rights and pay attention. Millennials it is important to become educated and although we understand politics isn't interesting but you are the future and have to become leaders and it's very. One thing is still certain, "survival of the fittest."
